What is ABM ? 

Account based marketing is a highly precise strategy that allows you to target specific prospects. It is a personalised campaign that targets high-potential prospects with a view to turning them into qualified leads and then into customers.

By aiming right, this strategy is extremely effective and successful. Rather than spending a lot of money on a campaign that targets a wide range of prospects, you narrow your focus and target those customers who are really likely to engage quickly and bring you significant revenue.

Who is ABM for ? 

ABM is used where the sales cycle is long, with several years between contact and sale. It is an effective method of extending a presence in an already acquired account. It allows you to sell specific products to a subsidiary or parent customer.

This marketing strategy is reserved for B2B companies, companies that have other organisations as customers. It is particularly useful for organisations with different buyers or stakeholders.

Far from mass marketing, this technique is a hyper-personalisation strategy, setting up contracts that are personalised to the customer for example.

A complementary strategy to inbound marketing

Inbound marketing is schematised by a funnel that targets a wide range of people and then gradually identifies potential prospects, only to keep them at the end. Account Based Marketing is different in that from the beginning, the prospect is targeted and a unique relationship is developed with him.

These two strategies are complementary, as they are based on the same technical tools. There is no need to choose one over the other!
